Fresh from impressing audiences with her lead performance in the West End run of 'Little Voice' and topping the single charts with her first release, Diana Vickers will make her UK festival debut at T in the Park on Saturday 10th July. With her new album set to match its first single's success, no doubt all eyes will be on this willful pop songstress as she plays the King Tut's Wah Wah Tent. Currently on the NME Radar Tour jaunt across the UK with the already announced for T in the Park band Hurts, Darwin Deez and Everything Everything join their tour mates on the bill bringing a hat-trick of the most talked-about bands of 2010 to Balado. On sabbatical from Bloc Party, Kele returns to T in the Park for his fourth visit and his debut as a solo artist. Having been vocal about his love of clubbing and dance music since his band first emerged in the mid noughties, Kele has proved he knows what he's talking about, delivering a debut album submerged in discordant frequencies and dirty beats brimming with dancefloor filling anthems. Kid Adrift's brand of self-recorded and self-produced dubstep, post-rock and pop has seen him championed by Radio 1 taste-maker Zane Lowe alongside music industry barometer Record of the Day plus he signed to Island Records earlier this year. Local Natives bring their dreamy melodies, soaring harmonies and thumping tribal beats to Scotland for their debut T in the Park performance. The five-piece from California will infuse the Balado crowd with some West Coast sunlight and their beguiling songs to both dance and swoon to. Scouting For Girls will make the journey to T in the Park for the second time. Having released their incredibly successful second album 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV' last month, the London three-piece play the Main Stage. The very first act to take to the Main Stage this year will be The Big Pink who will kick off a weekend of stunning performances with their opening set on Friday 9th July. Their debut album 'A Brief History of Love' understandably made the cut into many top albums of 2009 lists and they return to Balado for their second T in the Park performance. Due to release his debut album 'Fireplace' the Monday before T in the Park this July, hopefully The Boy Who Trapped The Sun will have something to celebrate when he takes to the stage for his debut appearance in Balado. Weaving delicate and beautiful acoustic numbers, this Isle of Lewis resident is set for an impressive 2010.
