Just over an hour ago the very first campers descended on the T in the Park site for the best weekend of the summer. 30,000 music lovers are heading to Balado today to get the T Party started early, with another 40,000 joining them tomorrow for three days of phenomenal music performances. As the finishing touches are being made to the Main Arena ahead of the first bands taking to the stages early tomorrow evening, there's plenty for festival goers to enjoy in the campsite. To the beat of the band's drums, the early arrivals began pitching their tents and planning what they're going to do for the next 24 hours.
The Thursday Night Cinema will be screening three classics tonight - Wayne's World 2, Hot Fuzz and School of Rock. Festival goers who fancy limbering up for a weekend dance-athon can rehearse their moves to tunes courtesy of the Boom Bus or the A-Listed Indie Disco and those wanting to make sure they look their most gorgeous can pop into Refresh for a spot of pampering. The Hurly Burly all-singing, all-dancing cabaret kitchen will be serving their first T in the Parkers as they make their Healthy T area debut with lots more campsite entertainment planned by the festival organisers.
