Foot stomping, heel tapping, elbow swinging…..laptops and block rockin’ beats?! It’s the Ceilidh Tent at T in the Park!

You won't be able to stand still in the legendary Ceilidh Tent. If you know the difference between a Gay Gordon and a Dashing White Sergeant then you'll be making your way over to this tent, but even if you don't, it's definitely worth a jaunt - you'll be hooked.

One of T in the Park's long standing traditions, as authentic as Irn Bru and square sausage, the Ceilidh Tent proves that traditional Scottish music can hold it's head up alongside contemporary rock and roll. It is hard to resist the vibe of a Ceilidh band in full flow. Many a T in the Parker has stuck their head in the tent to have a quick look only to find themselves whirling around on the dancefloor 5 minutes later.

It's a change from guitars and DJ's so if you fancy a slightly different sound drop by for a quick 'Strip The Willow'.

Eight top bands will be taking it in turns to funk up the home of traditional Scottish music on-site - we reckon this year’s mix of traditional and cutting edge top Scots talent will have T in the Parkers swinging their welly boots above their heads for hours on end!
