We assume you will only be purchasing tickets for yourself, but if someone else paid for your ticket (i.e. your mum or dad) we will expect you to know their contact details and address. Please bring photographic ID* with you as we will be doing spot checks on tickets and if you do not know the details of the person who paid for your ticket you run the risk of being ejected from the site.
*Valid UK IDs must be photographic like passport, Driving Licence so use lockers to keep them safe at night. If you don't want to bring your passport etc use a PASS ID. See www.pass-scheme.org.uk for details.

What happens if I buy a ticket from an auction site or other unofficial ticket source and it is a fake?
As they are not official outlets, we advise you contact the point of purchase. T in the Park strongly advises fans not to buy tickets from unofficial ticket outlets or website auctions as not only is there is a high chance that the tickets will either not exist or will be fake, but will you have to pay over the odds - don't take the risk.

Car park tickets must be purchased in advance from Ticketmaster for £17.50 (+ booking fee).
Is there a place where I can get dropped off and picked up?
Yes, please only use the nominated drop off points.
Drop off points are for private cars and taxis only, specifically to drop off and go. You cannot park here.
To avoid confusion, remember the name of your drop off point and make sure that the driver coming to collect you knows it too.
Coaches and mini buses drop off at the private coach park (see the Travel page for more info).
I am worried my car might be classed as a van - will I be let in to the car park?
For safety and security reasons, vans will be subject to search prior to entering the car parks and parking will be charged at £35 (standard car park ticket + £17.50 surcharge). Car park rules apply (see travel page).
Van definition: a vehicle which is built primarily to carry goods or other loads and does not have factory fitted seats and windows in the back (includes vehicles which have undergone modification to contain additional seats).
The event's licence conditions prohibit sleeping in vehicles. If you are found sleeping in your vehicle or carrying any equipment indicating that you plan to sleep in your vehicle, or if your vehicle contains any items deemed to be unsafe or prohibited, entry to the car parks will not be permitted. This is necessary to ensure the safety of those at T in the Park - regular vehicle security checks are in place. See ticket page for information on campervans.
Are there taxis to and from the site?
Remember that due to high demand on local services and the volume of festival traffic, queues and long waits are a very strong possibility. Taxi points are located at the sign posted drop off points. If you're calling a taxi home tell them the name of the drop off point.
