The last couple of years have seen DF Concerts and founding partner's Tennent's Lager get very busy on the green front at T in the Park! In 2006 we became the largest CarbonNeutral festival in the world and continue to be so and in 2008 we were the only UK festival to have been rewarded with both the Yourope (European Festival Association) Green’n’Clean award and independent campaign group AGreenerFestival.com's annual Greener Festival Award for environmentally friendly festivals. We are also the only Scottish event to have partnered with Julie’s Bicycle, an independent charity seeking standardised industry environmental management. We have a whole heap of environmentally minded initiatives in place and in 2009 we’re pushing for “Punter Power” and encouraging T in the Parkers to not be lemons and stick out from the crowd for not being green!
